About PhilBio

Philippine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc.

PhilBio is a non-profit, non-government organization established to preserve the unique biodiversity of the Philippines. We focus on areas that are biologically rich but critically under-protected.

Since 1990, PhilBio has been developing biodiversity conservation programmes and partnerships in some of the world's highest conservation priority areas — working with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to safeguard endangered species and their habitats.

Our work spans conservation breeding, knowledge dissemination, field research, and community empowerment — all in pursuit of a biodiverse Philippines for generations to come.

Vision
The long-term conservation of the Philippines' native and endemic wildlife and natural habitats for future generations of all peoples who may inhabit and share the natural resources of the country.
